स्विमिंग गाला में मस्ती

 आज उसे पहली बार कमेटी की मीटिंग में जाना है, कुछ देर पूर्व जून ने फोन पर जो कुछ कहा उस पसंद नहीं आया और उसे उनसे नाराज होने का पूरा हक है क्योंकि कई बार वह कह चुकी है कि अस्वस्थ होना और उसके बहाने अपने कर्त्तव्यों से पीछे हटना उसे जरा भी पसंद नहीं, न ही उसका प्रचार करना, शायद इसलिए कि उसे किसी की सहानुभूति नहीं चाहिए, शायद इसलिए कि उसका स्वाभिमान इतना बड़ा है कि अस्वस्थता में भी झुकना नहीं चाहता, या शायद इसलिए कि  बीमार होने को वह अपना दोष मानती है, फिर अपना दोष अन्यों के सामने स्वीकार कर लेना क्या इतना आसान है, जून इस बात को नहीं समझ पाते हैं, उन्हें अपनी अस्वस्थता को भी बढ़ा-चढ़ा कर बताना पसंद है तो...खैर !  नन्हे को बस में बैठाने के बाद कुछ देर पड़ोसिन से बात करती रही, उसने स्कूल के अध्यापकों के बारे में कुछ बातें कहीं, लेकिन बच्चों को अपने घरों से भी तो अच्छे संस्कार मिलना जरूरी है. आज सुबह कपड़े भी इस्तरी किये और शेष सारे कार्य भी. कल RD में Martha की कहानी पढकर इतना भी नहीं कर सकती तो कुछ नहीं कर सकती. अभी कुछ देर पूर्व सेक्रेटरी का फोन आया, उन्होंने पहला कार्य सौंपा है. जून ने फोन करके सॉरी कहा है, अब उसे कोई शिकायत नहीं है.

It was a marvelous experience. There she was among the talented ladies of town.  They were so able and dedicated to this club, and tea was also very high ! she liked every thing there. Earlier she had spent  almost one hour in calling all the winner and Runner up of all the sports, then told the details to secretary. She thinks Jun and Nanha ara also enjoying her new job. She was not  nervous and even suggested Tri colour sandwiches for the meeting. Job of arrangement of mike and all other things in monthly meeting is given to her and she thinks she should be able to do it nicely. Now her  health is fine and mind is also fresh. Jun takes good care.

Sunday afternoon, jun is sleeping, Nanha is studying and after putting Vaseline on hands and polish on  nails she picked this diary. While applying nail polish she thought of future, after say 15 years…then also she will take care of herself like these days. One should always do . yesterday they went to see the swimming gala in club,  Nanha participated in two events. In the evening Nanha went to see the children movie, “Jingles all the way” with their neighbor, they went to friend’s place,they gave them cold  coffee to drink  but it  was too heavy for her delicate stomach, jun also could not sleep nicely. On Friday they saw ‘One fine day’, it was a nice movie based on the events of a day in the life of two one parent family. The kids were charming so was the smile of young lady. Last evening she read few pages of some shrilankan writer, he is against all kind of beliefs and even meditation. Bible is the most dangerous book for children in his view.

कल दिन भर वर्षा होती रही थी, शायद रात को भी हुई हो, इस वक्त पंखे की भी जरूरत नहीं हो रही है. आज सुबह दीदी का फोन आया, वह चंडीगढ़ से बोल रही थीं, बड़ी भांजी का दाखिला हो गया है, वह पेइंग गेस्ट की तरह एक परिवार में रहेगी, उसे सी ए की कोचिंग की सुविधा भी वहाँ मिलेगी. दीदी खुश थीं और भांजी भी यकीनन होगी. भविष्य की ओर पहला कदम बढ़ाया है अपने बलबूते पर उसने. Really she is brave girl. कल रात स्वप्न में माँ-पिता को देखा, वे यहाँ आये हैं. कल दिन में ही वे उन्हें याद कर रहे थे. सुबह बगीचे से लगभग एक किलो भिन्डियाँ तोड़ी, जिस रफ्तार से वे तोड़ नहीं पाते उससे दुगनी रफ्तार से उग रही हैं, कुछ तो आकार में एक फिट से कुछ ही कम होंगी. अमरुद भी बहुत लगे हैं पर वे जून ही आकर तोड़ेंगे.
